  • Activity: Team Agreement Workshop — students form study groups and create a local team charter

Week 1: Project Alignment & Governance

  • The Initiating Focus Area (business cases, benefits realization, project charters)
  • The Governance Performance Domain (structured vs. self-governed models, SMART metrics, leading/lagging indicators)
  • The Stakeholders Performance Domain (identification, analysis, prioritization, engagement strategies)
  • LMS: Practice Test 1 over the weekend

Weekend 2: The Scope & Schedule Engine

  • The Planning Focus Area & Scope Performance Domain (WBS decomposition vs. Agile backlogs)
  • Activity: Eliciting Requirements & Building a Definition of Done (DoD)
  • The Schedule Performance Domain (critical path, fast-tracking, crashing, flow-based scheduling)
  • Activity: Interactive Schedule Network Diagram & Kanban mapping exercise
Aug 22–23 (Onsite)

Week 2: Budgets, Sourcing, & Teams

  • The Finance Performance Domain (cost estimating, budget build-up, contingency vs. management reserves)
  • Procurement Appendix X4 (sourcing strategies, make-or-buy analysis, contract types)
  • The Resources Performance Domain (acquiring and optimizing physical and human resources)
  • LMS: Practice Test 2 over the weekend

Weekend 3: Execution & Leadership Architecture

  • The Executing Focus Area & Team Performance Domain (centralized vs. distributed leadership, servant leadership)

Week 3: Risk, Controls, & Modern Tools
